Short-Term Stay After Hospital Admission
Patients that have been admitted to a hospital for a minimum of three nights may have the option for a short-term stay in our center to receive 24-hour Nursing care and Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy up to seven-days each week. Patients may also request a short-term Respite in-patient stay for periods of a few days to several months.

In-Patient Residential Stay
Patients that require a permanent in-patient stay may be admitted from the Hospital, Assisted Living Facility or Home after receiving an admission order from their primary physician.

He died it was horrible and nobody at the nursing home knew what happen I talk to him that afternoon and I said to him I will come see you tomorrow because I have to work tonight an extra shift he said he was not feeling good and like that he’s gone my 14years old doesn’t have a father anymore Ocala oaks rehab is a disaster they don’t listen they don’t bath your love one and they always come up with an excuse why I am very disappointed and that place looks like a prison don’t take your love one there it’s depressing the screaming the lack of space for the residents to move around or to enjoy the outside sunshine it’s HORRIBLE

[review] => I have my son, 44 years old, and my mom, 87 years old in Ocala Oaks. I sleep tight every night, knowing that they are in very good hands. It is a very clean facility, and the personnel are our family. They treat my loved ones with respect and with so much love. They pay attention to their personal wellbeing. From administration, admission, receptionists, business office, social workers, doctors, nurses, nurses' aides, therapist, the food department, the staff that clean, they are all great, they treat my family as their own. By the way, the food is very good. I tell you; I will not even consider any other facility since this is a great one.

I have tried for a long time to get a phone call into her to speak to her and Noone has been able to connect me to her they give me the run around, the phone doesn't ring in her room and I have told them repeatedly and Noone will change the phone or do anything.

[review] => When my sister & I walked in looking for a Nursing home for our mom, We knew this was it! I actually got tears! We were set to meet with Miss Leigh! The receptionist at the desk was so friendly & accommodating, miss Leigh came out right away! We found out they had a female open.She quick looked at our paperwork and then took us on a tour of the facility as we went around the staff was so friendly, PT, OT, ACTIVITIES! WE THEN went to see Nursing Home area! Very nice set up, met nurses so nice! We then found out in a day later mom all approved and we moved her right in! We were so lucky and the amenities are patient oriented, they have an alternative menu. Room is great wonderful closet and drawers, got my mom all set up with her oxygen before we even got there! We can't say enough about them definitely use them for your family! Also want to say the people in care plan meeting are great! And ty to The Social Service perJennine She Rocks!!!

Ocala Oaks Rehab has gone above and beyond for my loved one. The facility is very clean (doesn't smell like a nursing home). The staff from the nurses all the way to the administration have been wonderful. A special shout out to the therapy team. They are the best. I can't thank them enough. My dad was assaulted while in this facility and nothing was done and he is completely disabled

They didn't know where she was, got mad when we told them what room she was really in. A man wandered into her room and it took several minutes for the employees to figure out where that poor man was supposed to be or even that he was lost. [review] => This place sucks. They are unclean and rude. My grandma (87) went here because she fell at home, went to the hospital for a couple of days, and this place was recommended by the hospital. She ended up falling three more times while she was staying here. She brought her personal belongings with her. Her phone “went missing” and we still haven’t found it. They didn’t help her change clothes for days. The employees were rude to me and my mother, and im assuming they don’t treat the elderly very nice when we’re not there. There are some good, nice people that work there but most of them have been rude to us. They have COVID patients. The only thing separating the regular patients and the COVID patients is a line of caution tape across the hallway.

[review] => I have worked in healthcare for 25 years as a nurse I would never send my loved one to Ocala Oaks. The staff is unprofessional and argumentative. My family member rarely was taken out of bed or cared for properly and declined quickly, he could walk before entering this facility. We asked a staff member to get him out of bed so we could take him outside, 30 minutes later and a lot of aggression from the cna she finally got him up. Took a total of 3 minutes to do that. She made him wait just to be spiteful. If you want your loved one to get better and make progress do not take them here. Nothing but a headache every time. I hate leaving a bad review but I know a good team when I see one and this ain’t it.

[review] => If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve worked in the medical field and the treatment my sister is getting is horrible. She was sent there for three weeks - just for IV antibiotics and wound care. Due to poor training (or not caring), the antibiotic leaks all over her bed. This means she doesn’t get the needed dosage for her to heal. As far as wound care, it is inconsistent at best. I will be so glad when she can leave this horrible place.

[review] => This place is not what they claimed to be . My mother passed away there on 2-18-2017. I was never informed she was sick or had been getting any kind of meds . I moved my mother from Tampa FL. So I would be able to spend her last days with her . And that place heated me out of the reason why I moved here to ocala with me . So she would not be alone when she passed away and she was by her self ..for that I would never have put her in there .

I have my son, 44 years old, and my mom, 87 years old in Ocala Oaks. I sleep tight every night, knowing that they are in very good hands. It is a very clean facility, and the personnel are our family. They treat my loved ones with respect and with so much love. They pay attention to their personal wellbeing. From administration, admission, receptionists, business office, social workers, doctors, nurses, nurses' aides, therapist, the food department, the staff that clean, they are all great, they treat my family as their own. By the way, the food is very good. I tell you; I will not even consider any other facility since this is a great one.
